One price, everything included
Every feature listed above is in the €4. There is no higher tier holding back DNSSEC, no per-query billing, no charge for updating a record more often, and no add-on for the wildcard certificate. Your bill does not change with how much you use the service.
Nothing to lock you in
Billing is monthly, so you are never committed beyond the current cycle. Your zone exports to a standard BIND file from the dashboard whenever you want it, and every policy that applies to your account is published and dated on the commitments page.
Questions people ask
What does the €4 pay for?
Two authoritative nameservers in separate datacentres, DNSSEC signing, and a database replicated four ways with point-in-time recovery. Your record changes answer in under a second, with no zone reload and no propagation wait.
It also pays for the parts that only show up later: your email answered by the person who runs the nameservers, an invoice for your accounts department, and published policies rather than terms that change at will. Paying customers are also why phishing labels stay rare here, because a card on file is the cheapest anti-abuse measure available.
The 14-day trial answers whether it fits your setup.
What happens if I stop paying?
Paddle retries the payment on its own schedule first. A 21-day grace period follows, with email on day 0, 7, 14 and 20, the last naming the suspension date plainly. Your records then stop answering (NXDOMAIN) while being kept for 60 days, and paying restores them immediately. Export stays available throughout.
Every step is announced. DNS vanishing without warning is how a provider loses trust for good.
What if you shut down?
You get 90 days notice, or the most notice circumstances allow where a legal obligation forces the timing, plus one-click export of your zone in BIND format, no charges in the final 60 days, and DNS answering read-only through to the end. The full text sits on the commitments page.
Monthly billing is part of the same answer: what you can lose is capped at roughly one billing cycle.
Can I have more than one label?
Yes, €4/month each, billed as quantity on one subscription so there is one charge and one dunning state. Soft cap of 10 per account, raised on request. During the founding period it is one label per account, because unlimited names on a free period invites a namespace land-grab.
Invoices and VAT?
Paddle is the merchant of record, so they calculate and remit tax in your jurisdiction and issue the tax invoice. Your invoices and payment method live in the Paddle portal, linked from your account page.
How does the trial work?
14 days, payment method required up front, charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Requiring a card keeps the trial from becoming a free tier by another name.
